Place your thumbs between the sides at the very right side of the bag and slowly pull apart in that one spot. Once the sides of the Humidor Bag have come apart, slide your finger down the length of the seal to fully open the Humidor Bag.

No, the 69% Boveda provides two-way humidity control, which responds to the outside environment by adding or removing pure water vapor as needed to lock in 69%.
No, once the Boveda can no longer be bent in half, it’s time to replace it.
The Boveda will work over a very broad range of temperatures – 30°F to 120°F. Although the Boveda inside will still regulate at 69% in that temperature range, keep in mind that temperature also affects cigars.

Unopened, the Humidor Bag will have a shelf life of about 2 years.
With consistent opening/closing, the Humidor Bag will generally last about 6 months. It all comes down to how hard the Boveda inside has to work.
There are 3 sizes of the new Humidor Bag. The small will hold 3-5, the medium will hold 8 to 12 and the large will hold one physical box or about 50 loose cigars.
The Boveda that comes in the Humidor Bag isn’t available by itself. Boveda is available in other sizes and will work within the Humidor Bag.
Boveda is a patented 2-way humidity control. It’s the only proper way to store cigars and we’re the only ones that can do it. Everything else on the market works one way: the “pillows”, sponges, gels, beads, paper towels, etc., hold water and release moisture – even when it’s already too high. They’re unreliable and dangerous for cigars.
No. Propylene glycol has nothing to do with precision moisture control. While Boveda contains only salt, water and a food grade thickener, it only allows pure water vapor to transfer in and out.
The Humidor Bag is the best way to revive a dried out cigar. The Boveda inside will provide a constant 69% Rh to slowly re-hydrate the various layers within the cigar, minimizing the chances it will crack the wrapper. Many people have fallen in love with the Humidor Bag when they’ve used it to revive cigars that other “humidification” devices have ruined.
The Boveda and all its ingredients are completely safe, environmentally friendly and FDA approved. There are absolutely no health risks associated with the Boveda products. You could eat it, but it wouldn’t taste very good.
