“Several years ago after launching our luxury brand of timepieces made from 100% wood I knew immediately I was dealing with a material that does not react or adapt the same as metal, rubber, or other materials that dominate the watch market. Wood being a material that release or absorb moisture I wanted a way to keep our timepieces in a consistent and stable environment. This lead to our design of the JORD Cedar Valet. The box was designed around being a mini humidor for your JORD Watch. When doing this I was trying to figure out ther different ways for which individuals keep moisture consistent in their Cigar boxes.
Boveda came across my desk and the fit just felt right. Due to the nature of their product and being compact it really was a no brainer. Working directly with the Boveda team on design and ideation was a perfect fit and now we are able to offer one of the most luxurious watch boxes on the market with a function.”
