What is the difference between B49 and B49HA?

While both B49 and B49HA maintain a safe, stable humidity level between 40 and 60%, B49 is ideal in most climates and most applications. B49HA is a specialty solution for climates that experience year-round extreme humidity of 60+%.

The High Absorbency (HA) formula:

  • Takes on 3x the amount of moisture as the Standard B49 packets
  • Still releases moisture—just like B49 Standard packets do—if you travel to drier climates

DO NOT use the two (2) different formulas at the same time in the same instrument case.
