Two such tests conducted by independent and reputable labs confirmed:

BY DESIGN, BOVEDA CANNOT ABSORB TERPENES—those essential oils that give flower its flavor and aroma. Boveda’s patented technology only allows pure water vapor to flow in and out its packaging.
SCIENTISTS CONFIRM: NO TERPENES FOUND IN BOVEDA
Anresco Laboratories, an accredited third party California cannabis testing facility, found: NO QUANTIFIABLE TRACES OF TERPENES IN BOVEDA’S:

What Anresco Laboratories analyzed:
For more than six months, a Boveda 62% RH was stored with cannabis in a pouch. Not in a lab setting. Not in a scientific jar. Just a private stash of well-humidified flower that had been kept safe and sound by a medicinal cannabis patient.

A Cannabis-Terpene Profile on the Boveda 62% RH to see if it contained any terpenes.
What the scientists used:
A Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (AKA GC-MS), of course! Using GC-MS, Anresco Labs can detect and quantify 27 terpenes, including perennial favorites like limonene, myrcene and terpinolene.

SCIENTISTS CONFIRM: BOVEDA HELPS FLOWER RETAIN TERPENES

- Filled two identical mason jars with the same strain of medical grade cannabis.
