Constituents want cannabis reform. And now members of the U.S. House of Representatives have called for broad, permanent changes to federal cannabis policies. The House voted to stop the Department of Justice (DOJ) from spending money to prevent states and territories from “implementing their own laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of marijuana.”

In adult-use markets, shun grey or black market for safer cannabis
“When people want to consume for relaxation or recreation, they don’t usually plan ahead one-to-three weeks—or however long it takes an individual in a remote province to receive a mail-order cannabis purchase,” Lance noted.
Conveniently located, licensed dispensaries are key for consumers. Make it hard to buy flower and adults might continue to buy cannabis illegally. But buyer beware with black market flower and its unknown THC levels, possible pesticide exposure and dried out, broken trichomes.
“When you buy cannabis legally, it’s tested, it’s approved, it’s properly handled and packaged properly,” Lance said.
Proper humidity control prevents evaporation & mold growth for LPs
For your safety, cannabis companies adhere to state regulations, which are often guided by international standards. When it comes to moisture, careful growers manage the relative humidity (RH) level wherever flower is present—in bins, jars, or sealed packaging.
Too much moisture creates an environment where mold can grow. Sometimes processors intentionally over dry cannabis to prevent mold growth. But over drying cannabis flower creates its own problems.
